Stella – Manifest Anything
Perl Productions LLC · launched 28 Jan 2026 · $6.99/week to $29.99 plans · listens to an AI-written, AI-voiced story of your dream life
- The demand is proven and growing.Revenue grew from $185k in July to $328k in October. AppKittie tracks no Meta ads, so the growth most likely comes from TikTok.
- Users complain about the product, not only the price.Audio often fails to load. Playback stops when the phone locks. Stories feel generic. The images show people who do not look like the user.
- A second app confirms the category.Aya sells the same idea at $102k a month, up 111% in 3 months, with the same complaints.
- The best fix uses skills you already have.Show users images of themselves living each goal. That is the consistent-character pipeline from the AI girl game.
AppKittie estimates. Values in $k.
Runner-up: ChillFit
Core AI · launched 23 Oct 2025 · $9.99–$59.99 plans
ChillFit sells chair yoga, lazy yoga, wall Pilates and Tai Chi to older beginners. That is the same audience as your 50+ workout research. It is the top earner on the list at about $460k a month, up 94% in 3 months.
It grows on paid ads. AppKittie counts 344 Meta ads and 119 Apple Search Ads for it.
Its visible weak point is trust. Users say it is listed as free, charged them when the trial started, and has no way to cancel or contact anyone. One reviewer says they are 71 and on a fixed income.
Only 45 written reviews exist against about 226k downloads a month. That is too few to judge the product itself. Walk through the app on the iPhone before you commit, for example with the fitness-app-survey harness.
All 13 apps, by revenue
The written-review column counts the most recent written reviews from Apple's feed (up to 500). Star ratings without text are not in it. Grey rows are apps I ruled out.
| App | Verdict | Rev / mo | Jul → Oct | Trend | Store ★ | Written 1–3★ | Main complaint |

What a better Stella fixes
Each row starts from a complaint that repeats in Stella's and Aya's reviews.
Price the TTS and image generation per user against about $7 a week. Many unhappy reviewers are teens who cannot pay, so decide who the paying buyer is first.
Patterns worth knowing
Apps with at least 25 written reviews. Store ratings stay at 4.2–4.9★ while written reviews run 26–84% negative.
Store ratings are inflated
Most apps ask for a rating early in onboarding, before the paywall. Sweatmates asks for 5 stars before you see the app. Read the written reviews instead.
Quiz, then a hard paywall
About 10 of 13 apps get "it says free" or paywall complaints, by keyword match. Weekly plans at $6.99–$9.99 are the house playbook.
Billing anger is everywhere
Complaints about trial charges, cancelling or refunds show up in 9 of 13 apps. Easy cancellation is a cheap way to stand out.
Two apps sell the impossible
Cardiora and HealthPro claim to read blood pressure or blood sugar with the phone camera. Their revenue is not an opportunity for an honest product.
Risks
- Manifestation is a trend, and trends fade. The hard part is distribution through TikTok creators, not the build.
- AppKittie revenue and downloads are estimates. Stella's organic growth is an inference from zero tracked Meta ads, not a confirmed fact.
- Generation costs scale with every user. A selfie-based feature also needs a clear privacy story.
- Monju, a GLP-1 weight-loss companion, went from almost $0 in August to $109k in October. It may be the bigger market, but it has no written reviews yet. Check it again in about two months.
Method
The AppKittie API had no credits, so the list came from the AppKittie dashboard: Health & Fitness, Apple App Store, released after 8 October 2025, sorted by estimated revenue. Revenue trends and ad counts come from each app's AppKittie page on 8 October 2026.
Reviews come from Apple's public review feed for the US store (China for 美人支招): up to 500 of the most recent written reviews per app, about 1,600 in total.
